To cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education; To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education; To initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education and the National Council of Educational Research and Training etc.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ziro has been actively engaged in the earnest pursuit of educating the children and nurturing them. Active involvement of parents and guardians is expected for all around development of the students and the Vidyalaya. We strongly believe that staff members of K. V. Ziro and parents can together develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indian-ness among the students who are the nation’s builders and pillars. Now it is running up-to class X with one section each class.
